Nowadays, the desert is less about catching every set and more about navigating the extracurriculars around the festival – pre-parties and after-parties that feel like their own festivals, activations and pop-ups that make no sense (but we are so here for), and side quests in the campground that somehow become the highlight of your weekend.

From a free Maruchan instant ramen pop-up at Cabazon Outlets to invite-only parties like Sonic Desert, REVOLVE Festival, and Neon Carnival, we rounded up everything happening on (and off) the Polo Fields.
