It’s Thursday! A certain someone at DoLA refers to that as Baby Friday. Ick. I won’t name names. I like every day of the week and would not insult Thursday this way.

In my neck of the woods we’re throwing our monthly party tonight, DrinkStuff. If you are ever in Austin, the invite is open. DrinkStuff is kind of the reason DoStuff exists at all. We started back in the day to get us into shows. Well, and to get free or cheap drinks if I’m being completely honest. That was living the best life possible.

Now, AI can write you a list of things to do tonight in 0.4 seconds. It can probably write this email. But AI cannot text you at 11PM about whatever just happened on Traitors. It cannot have a real opinion about the opening act and whether I should get there early. It cannot remember that one show at the Echo in 2014. It most certainly cannot be Brady.

Which is the long way of saying: Brady, if you're reading this from a lounge chair (highly doubt it, secretly hope you so) you are irreplaceable, please come back, I cannot do this forever, and also did you see last week's episode of whatever reality show is currently airing. I only watch Traitors. We're between seasons. It's been rough.

In the meantime, I’m finding healthier ways to cope. Like this lineup.
